Priyanka Gupta, PT

Priyanka has been a Physical Therapist for 15+ years. During her PT school she was trained in traditional physical therapy including use of exercise therapy, manual therapy, taping and pain relief modalities like utrasound and electrical stimulation. Since 2008, she has been practicing physical therapy in Bellevue WA. During her career in Bellevue, WA she received certification in Reformer pilates through Stott pilates. To learn more in depth about human movement patterns and postural restoration, she trained in rehabilitation based Pilates through Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI), world leaders in rehab based Pilates. She has completed the certification course: “Orthopedic Excellence: The Spine”. The certification was based on evidence based physical therapy interventions for back and neck pain. Through various continuing education programs, she has gained knowledge to practice IASTM, cupping, myofascial release and balance and fall prevention techniques.

She enjoys working with patients dealing with back issues, arthritis, auto immune disorders, elderly people dealing with age related aches and osteoporosis. She also likes working with ballerinas, gymnasts and swimmers to improve their performance and keep injuries at bay. She likes empowering people with knowledge about their body and function to prevent recurrence of injury. Priyanka likes to keep physical therapy sessions interactive and focused on fixing the root cause of symptoms rather than going through an exercise repertoire.

When not working, she likes spending time with her husband, two girls and a dog! As a family they enjoy exploring the beautiful Pacific North West and staying active.
